Multiple plots

Bundesviz has built a political dashboard for journalists covering German federal politics. The dashboard shows German Bundesrat (Federal Council) seats across three plots: a bar chart by coalition, a bar chart by party role (primary, secondary, or tertiary partner), and a choropleth map of Germany's 16 states.

In the by-party plots, values are colored using each party's brand color. Opacity indicates coalition role: fully opaque = primary party, slightly transparent = secondary party, very transparent = tertiary party.
