R Markdown is een gebruiksvriendelijke opmaaktaal waarmee je inzichten uit gegevens kunt halen en je bevindingen kunt publiceren als een PDF, HTML-bestand of Shiny-app. In deze cursus leer je elk onderdeel van een Markdown-bestand maken en aanpassen, waaronder de code, tekst en metadata. Je analyseert data met dplyr, maakt visualisaties met ggplot2 en zet je analyses en grafieken om in rapporten. Je doet praktische ervaring op met het bouwen van rapporten terwijl je werkt met real-world data van de International Finance Corporation (IFC)—waarbij je leert hoe je rapporten efficiënt ordent met codechunk-opties, lijsten en tabellen maakt en een inhoudsopgave opneemt.
