In questo corso imparerai a eseguire analisi predittive all’avanguardia utilizzando dati di rete in R. L’obiettivo della network analytics è prevedere a quale classe appartiene un nodo della rete, ad esempio churner oppure no, frodatore oppure no, inadempiente oppure no, ecc. Per riuscirci, vedremo come sfruttare in modo predittivo le informazioni della rete e della sua struttura. In particolare, introdurremo l’idea di featurization, così da poter aggiungere le caratteristiche di rete alle caratteristiche non di rete, migliorando le prestazioni di qualunque modello analitico risultante. In questo corso userai il pacchetto igraph per generare ed etichettare una rete di clienti in uno scenario di churn e apprendere le basi del network learning. Poi conoscerai homophily, dyadicity e heterophilicity, e come usarle per ottenere intuizioni esplorative chiave sulla tua rete. Successivamente userai le funzionalità del pacchetto igraph per calcolare varie caratteristiche di rete, sia centrate sul nodo sia basate sui vicini. Inoltre, utilizzerai l’algoritmo PageRank di Google per calcolare caratteristiche di rete e verificarne empiricamente la capacità predittiva. Infine, ti mostreremo come generare un insieme di dati piatto a partire dalla rete e analizzarlo con regressione logistica e random forests.
