Data Cleansing in Action

In this exercise we'll cleanse a source data file containing a list of video games. Columns include the game title, the publisher, the genre and the critic rating. The file contains some empty rows and duplicate values; also, some entries for the genre column are empty. We'll use a dataflow to remove the empty and duplicate rows, and to assign a default genre value for the rows that have it empty.

Note: If you get an error about an API rate limit, this usually happens because a previous Fabric task has not completed. You can view active Fabric tasks from the Monitor page (located on the left vertical menu). Canceling old Fabric tasks in the Monitor page will usually resolve the rate limit error.
