Copilot for Microsoft PowerPoint
1. Copilot for Microsoft PowerPoint
Hello!2. Copilot in PowerPoint
Let's look at how Copilot can assist us in designing, editing, formatting, and adding interactive elements to PowerPoint presentations. Copilot can create presentations from scratch and edit, format, and organize slides.3. Where is Copilot in PowerPoint?
To get started4. Where is Copilot in PowerPoint?
click the Copilot icon in the toolbar.5. Design a presentation
Designing a presentation from scratch can be time-consuming, and Copilot can give structure and order to a draft. It's important to note that Copilot won't create a polished presentation. Instead, we'll have a draft, which we can refine slide by slide. Here, we prompt Copilot to "Create a presentation from a file".6. Design a presentation
Copilot gives us a solid starting point, including speaker notes added to the slides. These are not final notes so we'll need to adjust them to be sure the information is accurate. To enhance the presentation, we can use Designer and Copilot to adjust the layout and color scheme to create visually appealing slides.7. Design a presentation
Designer is located next to the Copilot icon and helps add visuals to the slides.8. Copilot and designer
We can use it to apply different design styles to our slides and choose a design that fits our theme. We can also make modifications to single slides.9. Edit a presentation
For example, this slide can be improved because it contains too much plain text.10. Edit a presentation
Let's prompt Copilot to "summarize the text on this slide" to make it more engaging. If we're not satisfied with the change, we can keep asking Copilot for modifications, until we are happy with the result.11. Format a slide
To finish our presentation, let's add an appreciation slide to thank the team members involved in the project. Copilot will add the slide, which can be altered to our needs, while staying consistent with the rest of the presentation.12. Visual Creator
If we're not happy with the generated image, we can use the Visual Creator, that we find next to Copilot in the tab, to generate a new image.13. Visual Creator
We can then select the one we like, and insert it into our slide.14. Let's practice!
