Breaking a file into multiple tables

Frequently, a data scientist or business analyst will receive a single, wide file containing a variety of fields. It's often desirable to break out a single table into a more structured format in order to reduce duplication (thus saving space).

In addition, if you are breaking out a reference table from a wide table, this can make it easier for certain visuals such as slicers to show the appropriate options available. In the next chapter, we will expand on this, but for now, create your own lookup table on NAICS codes.
