MusicData Analytics has built a hip-hop chart explorer for a music history retrospective. The dataset shows critically acclaimed hip-hop songs plotted by year of release. Songs by two artists at the center of the 1990s East Coast–West Coast rivalry — The Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac — are highlighted separately from the rest.
