1. Summary
Congratulations! You made it to the end of this predictive analytics course. Time to wrap up and have a look at what you learned.
2. What you learned ... and what's up next?
First, you learned how to construct a predictive model using logistic regression. Then, you implemented the forward stepwise variable selection method that selects a good set of predictors for your logistic regression model. Next, you learned how to construct evaluation curves like the lift curve and cumulative gains curves, to explain the performance of your models to business stakeholders and make business cases. Finally, you constructed predictor insight graphs that allow you and domain experts to verify that the predictors that are in the model are sound and the relationship with the target is logical.
You should be proud of what you learned, you are now able to construct an accurate and sound predictive model, and you know how to present it to business.
However, there is one important step that we didn't consider in this course yet. Throughout all the chapters, you assumed that a basetable was given. Constructing the basetable is a very important and delicate task that deserves a course on its own. If you're interested in how this should be done, be sure to take the next course, "Foundations of predictive analytics II".
3. See you in the next course!
Again, congratulations on finishing this course and see you in the next one.
