Looking into the future
In time series forecasting, you predict values over a period of time. The horizon is how far into the future you're predicting — it could be days, months, or years.
Explore the interactive tool to see how forecasts work. Choose a dataset (Monthly Sales, Website Traffic, or Avg. Temperature), then use the slider to adjust the forecast horizon from 1 to 24 months. Watch what happens to the shaded uncertainty band as you predict further into the future.
Once you've experimented with different horizons, answer the question.
