Bi-directional cross-filtering
Although bi-directional filtering could come at a performance cost, and is generally frowned upon in Power BI, there are specific circumstances in which it can make sense. The most common scenario involves filtering slicers to exclude any dimensional values which do not have corresponding entries in the fact table.
To improve your reporting skills, you'll create two slicers that are connected and will only show values that actually exist in the fact table, Summary Statistics for Manufacturing.
