Als Data Scientist zou je het grootste deel van je tijd moeten besteden aan het halen van bruikbare inzichten uit data — niet aan wachten tot je code klaar is. Efficiënte Python-code schrijven kan de looptijd verkorten en rekenkracht besparen, zodat je meer tijd overhoudt voor het werk waar je blij van wordt als Data Scientist. In deze cursus leer je hoe je Python’s ingebouwde datastructuren, functies en modules gebruikt om schonere, snellere en efficiëntere code te schrijven. We bekijken hoe je code kunt timen en profileren om knelpunten te vinden. Daarna ga je oefenen met het wegnemen van die knelpunten en andere onhandige ontwerpkeuzes met Python’s Standard Library, NumPy en pandas. Na afloop van deze cursus heb je de tools in handen om efficiënte Python-code te schrijven!
