Implementing Date Dimensions

The date dimension is the most common dimension used for analysis. There are many ways to generate a date dimension, such as using SQL or Power Query scripts or even using an Excel spreadsheet. In this exercise, we'll use Power Query to create a basic date dimension table that stores one row per date.

Note: If you get an error about an API rate limit, this usually happens because a previous Fabric task has not completed. You can view active Fabric tasks from the Monitor page (located on the left vertical menu). Canceling old Fabric tasks in the Monitor page will usually resolve the rate limit error.
