Congratulations!

1. Congratulations!

Congratulations! You have successfully completed the time series analysis in Tableau course! Let's briefly review what you've learned.

2. What you've learned: chapter one

In Chapter 1, you have learned the fundamentals of time series, where you understood what time series is, the different time series models that exist and the difference between univariate and multivariate analysis. You then dived into the basics of data preparation where you learned how to reformat dates into the format you need for your analysis.

3. What you've learned: chapter two

In Chapter 2, you worked on reinforcing your data cleansing fundamentals by learning to parse date strings from different time formats, split up dates and validate incorrect date strings. You then started with time series analysis uncovering seasonality through moving averages, box plots, and the basics of outlier detection with percentiles where we touched briefly on Z-scores.

4. What you've learned: chapter three

Lastly, in Chapter 3, we dived deep into window functions where we unpacked what windows are, how to set a window size, and how to use a range of window functions to smooth your data profile. We then used your knowledge of window functions to build anomaly detection classifiers using rolling standard deviations, upper and lower limits, and applied statistics with Z-scores.

5. Thank you!

Thank you for the effort and time investment dedicated to this course. It has been my pleasure to work with you and I wish you success in all your time series analytical adventures! Until next time!
