At Snowy Peak, the analytics team wants to explore occupancy data across their ski runs to better understand usage patterns and peak demand. They can use CoCo to help them understand their data and build up the analytics from there. Open up Coco in a Workspace and it already knows what you're working on. It reads the active file as context for every question that you ask. Type @ to search and attach any table, schema or view from your catalog. No copy-pasting column names. CoCo brings the metadata directly into the conversation. Ask for SQL in plain English and Coco generates it instantly. Ask it to explain, refactor or optimize existing queries just as easily. Here we ask for a SQL command to calculate the total number of skiers per ski run. Before any change touches your code, a diff view shows exactly what's being added or removed. You stay in control, review it, then apply. Had an error? Click fix in the results grid and CoCo diagnoses and resolves it on the spot. Here we wanted to change the query to skiers per lift and CoCo fixes that by adding the lift name into the aggregation for us. CoCo doesn't just build single queries. Ask it to build a machine learning notebook or scaffold a DBT project or create a semantic model and watch it work through the task step by step. Here CoCo helps us to create a DBT model for skiers per run. Use a ‘/’ to access built-in skills. These are specialized workflows for tasks like data governance, cost management and semantic view creation. You can also create your own personal skills directly in the workspace.
