Create alert rule with email notification

You manage a storage account that hosts critical marketing materials and customer documents. To detect issues early before they impact users, you need to set up automated monitoring. Your task is to create an alert rule that monitors storage availability and sends an email notification when availability drops below acceptable levels.

In your Storage account, navigate to Alerts under Monitoring and create a new alert rule.,Select "Availability" as the signal and configure it to trigger when average availability is less than 99%, evaluated every 5 minutes.,Create a new action group named "Storage-Alerts-Email" with Region set to Global.,Add an email notification with your email address.,Complete the alert rule with name "Storage-Availability-Alert", severity 2 - Warning, and create it.,Verify the alert rule is active and check your email for confirmation.
