Modern versus classic

Power Apps ships two generations of controls, older classic controls and newer modern controls. They look different, behave slightly differently, and the course teaches modern throughout. The quickest way to feel the difference is to compare them side by side.

On the right is a tiny sign-in form rendered with both control sets at the same time. Type in both inputs, open both dropdowns, hover the buttons, and feel the difference. Click Show differences to reveal annotated callouts, then choose the correct statement.
