Files or tables?
Every lakehouse you open splits its contents in two, and knowing which half you're looking at tells you what you can do with the data. Files holds whatever arrived from the source, in whatever format it arrived in. Tables holds data that has been structured into rows and columns for querying. In this exercise, you'll set up a lakehouse with sample data and open both areas to find the very same dataset sitting in each one, in two different states.
