Threshold selection
You have data elements with various levels of criticality, priority, and impact on your customer report. You are interested in setting alert thresholds for each field, so in case a data quality rule runs and the result is below the threshold, an alert will be sent.
- Customer name is the most critical field with the greatest customer impact, so you have prioritized it as a tier 1 (high) critical data element.
- Customer account status is important because it has an impact on some customer processes. You have prioritized this field as a tier 2 (medium) critical data element.
- Customer age does not have impact on any processes, so you prioritize it as a tier 3 (low) data element.
Which combination of alert thresholds makes sense for these three fields?
