Calculated fields in PivotTables
In this exercise, you will use Calculated Fields to analyze the Sales Amount
to see if the data aligns with expectations.
Bananas sells their platform subscriptions at various levels for different prices. Basic
users enjoy a "freemium" experience, a free product with limited use. Premium
users pay $10 per license, Business
users pay $25 per license, and Enterprise
users negotiate their price.
In this dataset, the Number of Users
is the number of people actively using the platform under the Customer ID
, whereas the Licenses Bought
is the total number of paid subscriptions the customer has under their account. Each Customer ID
has a unique combination of Basic
non-paid users or bought licenses.
