It often helps to think about the big picture. In this course, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive overview of the latest cloud security concepts, tools, and best practices. We’ll cover three main topics that are crucial for understanding the cloud environment. First, we’ll discuss identity management and access control in a cloud environment. We’ll also review related concepts, including single sign-on, or SSO, multifactor authentication, or MFA, and identity and access management, or IAM, services. Second, we’ll explore the different types of access controls employed in a cloud environment, including role-based access control, or RBAC, and attribute-based access control, or ABAC. And third, we’ll provide you with an overview of trust boundaries, best practices for configuring and managing defense, and the zero trust security model. By the end of this course, you'll have an understanding of cloud cybersecurity concepts and be able to apply these concepts to scenarios you might really encounter in the workplace.
