Auto-pausing a failing Dag
A monitoring pipeline checks API health every hour. When the API goes down for maintenance, the pipeline fails repeatedly and floods the on-call channel with alerts. Airflow can auto-pause a Dag after consecutive failures to stop the noise, and callbacks let you log each failure with context about what went wrong.
You'll combine both features to keep the team informed without the alert fatigue.
