An alternative to bi-directional filtering
For some use cases, you'll need to use a bi-directional filter. One example is a scenario where we want to show only values in a dimension slicer that are actually present in the fact table. It's important to know that bi-directional filtering can come with a cost. Luckily, there's an alternative in Power BI for this scenario that's more efficient.
