Calculated versus computed columns

In the previous chapter you learned how to create a new, composite key, for the Geography dimension by merging three columns together in Power Query. Now, we'll also create the composite key through DAX.

You'll use two different tables in this exercise. In one you'll compute a custom column in Power Query, and in the other table you'll use DAX to create a calculated column. Let's compare which method leads to a better performance, computed columns created in Power Query or calculated columns created in DAX.
