Collect metrics through storage interactions
You manage a storage account that hosts marketing materials and customer documents. To maintain application health and performance, you need to understand how your storage is being used. Your task is to generate activity on the storage account by uploading and downloading files, then use the Metrics Explorer to view the automatically collected transaction, ingress, and egress metrics that Azure tracks for you.

Instructions
Navigate to your Storage account and upload at least three files to a container, then download them to generate storage activity.,Under Monitoring, open Metrics and select "Transactions" to view the activity.,Add "Ingress" and "Egress" metrics to the same chart for comparison.,Adjust the time range to "Last 30 minutes" to see a focused view of your recent activity.
