This course was created by Luis Silva; Luis, why don't you introduce yourself. Hello, I’m Luis, a Data and AI Solution Architect with several years of experience in Azure and Fabric. I've been working on data and analytics solutions on the Microsoft platform since the days of SQL Server 7 and OLAP Services, to the most recent releases of Power BI, Synapse Analytics and Fabric. I'm excited to bring this course to you and I hope you enjoy learning from it.

In this course we'll start with a brief introduction to data engineering in Fabric and then we'll drill down into three core areas: Implementing a star schema, data transformation and exploration, and performance optimization.
