Return on assets

A brother of the Return on Assets (ROA) metrics is the Return on average assets or ROAA. Similarly to ROA it shows how well a company uses its assets to generate profits. It helps investors and managers quickly determine the overall profitability of a company. In this exercise we will compute the ROAA and interpret it's meaning.
