Wrap-up

1. Congratulations on completing the course

Congratulations on completing this course on AI Apps in Sigma! Let’s review what we’ve learned.

2. Chapter 1 recap

In Chapter 1 we learned how AI Apps are designed to integrate user input and to trigger action-based workflows. We covered one of the most important building blocks for apps, the linked input table. We learned to create linked input tables that display warehouse data side-by-side with user inputs. We also learned to govern the types of data entered into linked input tables and how to control when linked input tables can be edited.

3. Chapter 2 recap

In Chapter 2 we learned to enrich apps with modals and action sequences. Modals helped us create focused pop-up windows in our app to show users additional information or accept further input. Action sequences helped us trigger a variety of effects when users clicked buttons or tables in our app.

4. Chapter 3 recap

In Chapter 3 we covered popovers, a type of UI element used for hiding filter menus or contextual information in an app. We also learned about a variety of ways to add aesthetic and organizational appeal to AI apps, such as navigational buttons, dividers and tabbed containers.

5. Congratulations!

We hope you’ve enjoyed learning to bring together Sigma’s many capabilities to build dynamic, interactive, and customizable applications.
