Composite key relationships

When pulling data from multiple sources, it may be necessary to merge columns to connect datasets together by using a composite key. This is a vital skill, since Power BI requires single-column relationships between tables.

It seems that the database you usually extract data from has stopped providing you a geographic id in the tables. As a result, there isn't a single column you can use to create a relationship. While you wait for a fix from the data engineers, flex your column merging skills and create your own geographic key!

If you have lost any progress, close any open reports and load 1_3_composite_key.pbix from the Exercises folder on the desktop.
