Shares of the whole
Two common ways of demonstrating shares of a whole in Power BI are pie charts and treemaps. Pie charts are best for showing simple shares of a static total. Treemaps, meanwhile, are best for showing hierarchical, categorical data.
We will experiment in this exercise to see which of the two does best for us when looking at order quantities of product sizes purchased by a given retailer channel.
