Query parameters

Your manager informs you that WWI will be publishing reports to Power BI Service, and that the data sources you are using will be updated more regularly with even more data.

As a result, you will have to create an incremental refresh process for your database data connection. In order to do this, you will also have to create the necessary parameters.

This lab starts from your report with the WWI_FactSale database table. If that table isn't in the Data pane, close any open reports and load 3_1_query_parameters.pbix from the Exercises folder on the Desktop. The file connects to a DataCamp database, so it only refreshes inside the DataCamp virtual machine, not in your own copy of Power BI Desktop.
