Counting cells

There are a few different built-in functions for counting cells in Google Sheets, with each counting cells differently based on the type of data in the cell. These counting functions can not only be used to initially explore your data, but also identify data quality issues, such as columns containing lots of missing values.

In this exercise, you'll utilize the different counting functions to count numerical data, text data, and blank cells in the natural satellites dataset.
