If you want to open your spreadsheet tomorrow and see the same results that you see today, you may want to use the options for static dates that don't shift with the passage of time.

In this example, you will be looking for all of the activity except for the month of June 2018.

  • Add a conditional formatting rule to the dates in column B to highlight any cells with a date before 6/1/2018 with the Default green background, using the "Date is before" option.
  • Add another conditional formatting rule to the dates in column B to highlight any cells with a date after 6/30/2018 with the Default green background using the "Date is after" option.
