Find out what Copilot Studio is and which everyday questions are worth handing to an agent. You'll build an HR help agent the credit-free way, write instructions that keep it in its lane, and test it. Then add expense claim and bank details topics, and use the activity map to prove each question lands in the right place.

Getting Started with Copilot Studio and Agents

Move your agent from answering to acting. You'll build a flow that turns an IT service desk ticket into a drafted reply, store an employee's name in a variable, and branch on urgent tickets. Then watch the Microsoft 365 blog's feed with an RSS trigger and add a human review step before anything reaches staff.

Building Agent Flows

Give your agent answers it can back up. You'll read details from the company directory with a connector, attach Contoso's workplace FAQ with Web Search off, and check which answers it can cite. Then build a Workplace Lookup assistant that draws on the FAQ and a meeting rooms spreadsheet, and one that collects equipment loan requests.

Connecting Agents to Organizational Knowledge

Your HR agent is ready for a pilot. Publish it, find its channels, and check who can use it in the Share dialog. Learn where the Monitor dashboard reports usage, let the Flow checker pinpoint a broken step so you can fix and republish, and plan a handover that keeps the agent running without you.

Publish, Monitor, Troubleshoot, and Govern

Does your team answer the same questions every week? This course shows Microsoft 365 users how to hand that work to an agent, with no code. You'll build an HR agent in Copilot Studio, keep it on topic, and add topics it picks for each question. Next come agent flows that draft replies, branch on urgent tickets, and pause for a person's approval. Then you'll read details from the company directory, ground answers in an approved FAQ, and finish by publishing your agent, reading its Monitor dashboard, and fixing a broken flow.

Every team answers the same questions over and over: how to claim an expense, where to park, what to do with an urgent ticket. Copilot Studio lets you build an agent once and have it handle those conversations for everyone, with no code.

Learn which tasks are worth automating and take the credit-free route to a Standard agent. You'll write instructions that keep it in scope, try it in the Test panel, and add topics by describing what each one does. The activity map shows which topic handled each question.

<h2>Automate Work with Agent Flows</h2>
Next, you'll build flows that take an IT ticket, draft a reply with Run a prompt, and return it to the agent. Then add a variable, a condition for urgent tickets, an RSS-triggered blog review, and a human review step before anything is sent.

<h2>Ground Answers in Organizational Knowledge</h2>
Read details from the company directory through a connector, attach an approved FAQ as a knowledge source with Web Search off, and check which answers it cites. Then build a Workplace Lookup assistant and an assistant that collects equipment loan requests.

Publish your agent, find its channels, and check who can use it in the Share dialog. You'll read the Monitor dashboard, fix a broken flow with the Flow checker, and plan a safe handover to your team.
