How long are vehicle owners going between charges?

It's helpful to understand how long vehicle owners go between charging sessions. The distance_driven column serves as a good proxy for this - greater distances typically mean longer times between charges. This helps the finance team project revenue and the operations team ensure chargers are allocated correctly. Your job is to break vehicle owners into buckets to better understand these patterns.

You'll work with the ELECTRIC_VEHICLES schema in the database starting with COURSE_41767.

You’ll also explore a more robust version of the functions you saw in the previous lesson using NTH_VALUE. Next, you’ll create “buckets” of data using NTILE, which is more useful than you may think. You’ll also pick up a nifty little tool called CUME_DIST to find the number of records less than or equal to a certain record in a window. You’ll wrap up the chapter with one of the most powerful applications of window functions you’ve seen so far; LAG and LEAD.
