Test answers inside and outside the source

Staff at Contoso will only trust Workplace Assistant if its answers come from the approved FAQ, and if it admits when the FAQ has nothing to say. Before anyone relies on it, you'll test it from both sides.

You'll ask it one question the FAQ answers and one it doesn't, and check where each reply came from. The replies are written by the agent and their wording will vary, so pay attention to what each reply does rather than its exact words.

Give your agent answers it can back up. You'll read details from the company directory with a connector, attach Contoso's workplace FAQ with Web Search off, and check which answers it can cite. Then build a Workplace Lookup assistant that draws on the FAQ and a meeting rooms spreadsheet, and one that collects equipment loan requests.
