Networking in Google cloud is a 6 part course series. Welcome to the first course of our six part course series, Networking in Google Cloud: Fundamentals. This course provides a comprehensive overview of core networking concepts, including networking fundamentals, virtual private clouds (VPCs), and the sharing of VPC networks. Additionally, the course covers network logging and monitoring techniques.

<h2>Build Your Google Cloud Networking Foundation</h2>Every workload you run in Google Cloud depends on the network underneath it. This intermediate course opens a six-part networking series and is built for network engineers and administrators who already use Google Cloud or plan to, as well as anyone curious about software-defined networking in the cloud.<br><br><h2>Design and Connect VPC Networks</h2>You’ll start with Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks, the building block of networking in Google Cloud. Learn why virtual machines with multiple network interfaces are useful, how to connect two or more VPC networks, and how Shared VPC lets several projects use one centrally managed network. Hands-on labs let you practice each concept directly in the Google Cloud console.<br><br><h2>Monitor and Troubleshoot Network Traffic</h2>Next, you’ll use Network Intelligence Center, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring to see what’s happening on your network, and analyze traffic patterns with VPC Flow Logs. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to build, connect, and troubleshoot VPC networks, and you’ll be ready to move on to routing, load balancing, and security later in the series.
