Understanding UI/UX principles

In the video, some good UI/UX practices were highlighted. The goal of building a dashboard is to be able to present complex information in a digestible manner. In following these general tips, you can make the dashboard more accessible to more people. While these are not necessarily the only good practices that you will agree with, these principles provide you with a starting point.

In the previous chapter, you learned about shiny apps. In this chapter, you will realize that a shinydashboard is really just another shiny app but with more tweakable features. You will then learn to carry out some simple wire-framing for a dashboard, during which you can decide where to position outputs and inputs in the dashboard.
