Series filling

You used Flash-fill to populate a column in Excel easily. But what if you haven't got existing data that can be used to find a pattern? The Fill Series feature of Excel can help here. You might have seen that the Orders sheet has a date column present. It is good practice to create a date lookup sheet that you can use for date preparation later on.

If you lost progress, close any open reports and load 1_4_series_filling.xlsx from the Workbooks folder. If a message appears saying "Security Warning - External Data Connections have been disabled", click on Enable Content and continue.
