Using focal points

To this point, we have looked at creating new dashboards and reports. In practice, you won't always be able to create reports from scratch--sometimes you will need to take a report somebody else has created and make it work better. In this case, an exuberant colleague began creating a dashboard for CPI data but went a little too far in creating visuals. Use your knowledge of focal points and visual design to simplify the dashboard and help end users make sense of this data story.

If you have lost any progress, close any open reports and reload 1_1_focal_points.pbix from the Exercises folder on the desktop.
