Generating a new date variable

The beginnings of time series analysis starts with having a date variable. In a lot of real world datasets, a date variable will need to be extracted from an existing variable or formatted appropriately to be useful (i.e. used in a time series analysis).

In this exercise, you will get some experience doing just that! First, you will create a new date variable from the existing host_since_datekey variable, then analyze new hosts over time.
