Claude Code or the Claude Agent SDK?

The Claude Agent SDK lets you embed Claude into scripts and pipelines. Same Claude, same tools (Read, Edit, Bash), but driven by code instead of a terminal session. The trade-off is interactivity: the SDK is "fire the prompt and iterate over the stream," while running claude in your terminal is a back-and-forth conversation.
