Discovering genres with treemaps

The basic charts are easy to produce using any spreadsheet program. Where Tableau truly shines are visualizations that would require a lot of work, and with Show Me, they can be prepared in no time.

One of them, treemaps, groups categorical data and enriches it with two measures: using size and color, giving an instant idea of the largest contributors to each category. Let's see it in practice while studying the number of IMDb votes - production's measure of popularity.
