You're preparing for a quarterly review and want to explore the customer data with no risk of changing it, so you start CoCo read-only. Then your manager asks you to save the five biggest spenders as a TOP_CUSTOMERS table. See how read-only handles that request, then lift the restriction and save the table.

Instructions de l’exercice

  • Start CoCo with cortex --sql-read-only, ask it to save the five customers with the highest total spend as a table called TOP_CUSTOMERS, and approve the statement.
  • Once Snowflake refuses it, type /guardrails and remove the current restriction.
  • Ask CoCo to save the table again, and approve it.
  • Close the session.
