You learned how to leverage Power Query's column profile and view column features to assess for data quality and summary statistics. You also mastered filtering data, troubleshooting errors, and dealing with missing data. You learned how to identify and remove duplicates and how to handle outliers.

4. Column Transformations

You delved deeper into transformations by learning various techniques to perform numerical transformations by transforming existing and adding new columns. You learned to work with date and time fields and transform and derive necessary elements. You also mastered many text transformations, such as case conversion and sub-string extraction.

5. Shaping and Grouping Data

Last but not least, you learned how to effectively shape, reshape, group, and aggregate data of many different types and varieties. You learned to transpose data, pivot columns, perform group by transformations, and introduce how deriving new queries differs using reference versus duplicate.

In this introductory course, you got hands-on experience with many of the great features that Excel Power Query offers in the ETL journey from raw data to analytical insights.
