In this module, we discussed some of the best practices when writing functions, and how to optimize them for performance and networking. We discussed how to enable and optimize function retry, and the error conditions that trigger the retrying of functions. You learned about best practices when implementing IAM policies for your functions, and to configure functions to control the amount of memory used, and avoid function timeouts. Finally, we discussed how functions are scaled and how you can control the scaling behavior with configuration, and you learned how to split traffic between different revisions of a Cloud Run function.2.
