1. Wrap-up
Fantastic job on completing the case study!
2. Data analysis flow
You completed four out of the five data analysis steps, and the only step left is to communicate your insights with Databel. You did a tremendous job and demonstrated you can complete an analysis piece from A-Z in Power BI.
3. Power BI Desktop
Databel sadly isn't a real company, but you may want to publish your work. Power BI Desktop is free and unfortunately has some limitations. But still, you can share your report with peers using Power BI Service. It is also possible to embed reports created in Power BI Desktop into existing apps or websites. And there is a storage limit of 10 GB per user.
For more enhanced properties there are paid membership options for Power BI Pro and Power BI Premium.
4. Power BI Service
Along with Power BI Desktop, you need to have access to Power BI Service in order to publish work online. Power BI Service is basically the online version of Power BI.
It allows users to share their reports created in Power BI Desktop and also create dashboard files. You can continue working on your reports online. Another great advantage is the workspaces where you can collaborate and work on the same report with your peers.
5. Optional future work: Bookmarks and buttons
If you are interested in developing your skills even further and want to learn how to use bookmarks and button features in Power BI you can do so by taking the Reports in Power BI course.
Intermediate Power BI knowledge is required for this course, and you'll learn various techniques to make your reports more appealing. A bookmark captures the state of a report page offering the ability to save your results and return to them later. And buttons are added to reports to help you with navigation and exploration. They allow you to perform specific actions on pages.
If you apply the learnings from that course to this dataset, you will be able to create even more interesting dashboards and insights.
6. Congratulations!
Congratulations on completing the case study and good luck with your Power BI adventures!
