Observability with third-party tools

1. Observability with third-party tools

Observability is natively present throughout Snowflake without needing to use event tables, logs, or traces to implement it. For example, Snowflake natively offers observability for snowpipes, dynamic tables, data lineage, and more. All of this helps you build flexible, observability-based dashboards within Snowflake. But observability with Snowflake doesn't end with its native features. Because Snowflake's telemetry is built using the OpenTelemetry standards, this means you can easily integrate third-party tools with Snowflake Trail. Platforms like Datadog, Grafana, PagerDuty, and many more are supported and can be used to complement your Snowflake observability implementation. For more information, check out the platform's corresponding documentation. Join me in the next video to recap what we've learned about observability. Thanks for watching!
