1. Wrapping up!
Congratulations! We've covered a ton of content throughout this course! In this final video, we'll summarize all that you've learned.
2. NoSQL data stores
First, you learned the basics of NoSQL, outlining what makes it different from traditional relational database management systems, as well as exploring its basic pillars and characteristics. Then, you dove right into columnar databases with Snowflake. You worked with large, structured and semi-structured analytics data before moving on to document databases. Here, you used Postgres JSON to store and retrieve semi-structured data in JSON format, making it ready for analytics use cases. Finally, you explored the basics of Redis to store simple, key-value data before wrapping up the course with a quick look at graph databases.
3. What next?
Now that you've completed the course, keep growing your data skills with real-world examples and projects. Use DataCamp's Workspace to leverage the tools you explored and more to build projects and document your takeaways. In addition to the tools you leveraged in this course, take a look at others such as Redshift, MongoDB, and Pinecone to power an analytics project, store data retrieved from an API, or train an LLM.
4. Thank you!
Thank you for joining me as we explored the basics of NoSQL, and the skills needed to work with this data. Best of luck in all your future data endeavors, and happy coding!
