1. Wrap-up
Congratulations on finishing the course! That's a big achievement and you've learned a lot.
2. What you've learned
You started by writing your own methods, passing in parameters, and returning values. Then, you explored control flow with if, else if, and else statements. You practiced writing logic that reacts to different situations.
After that, you jumped into loops—using for, foreach, and while to repeat actions and work through arrays and Strings. And finally, you pulled everything together: writing flexible, reusable workflows with loops, conditionals, and custom methods.
Along the way, you wrote real code and solved real problems. That's what programming is all about.
3. Where to next?
You've done a great job getting this far - well done. So, what comes next? Like I mentioned earlier, learning Java is a journey, and this course is just one step along the way. Java is a powerful and widely used language with a lot more to explore.
To keep building your skills, I encourage you to check out some of the resources I've personally found helpful over the years - there are great websites, documentation straight from the people behind Java, and books that are perfect for beginners looking to go deeper. And of course, I'd love to see you back on DataCamp. We've got more courses that continue the Java learning path and help you keep moving forward with confidence.
4. Congratulations!
The best way to keep improving is to keep coding. Explore, break things, fix them, and have fun with it.
Thank you for taking the course and congratulations again!
