Regression in the Population

When we run regression analyses it is likely that we'll be using a sample to make inferences about a population. We have a slightly different equation for regression in the population because we use fancy greek symbols: \(µ = α + β*x + e\).

In our experiment we tested how much a sample people like you when you give them different amounts of money. Which is the following is one of the reasons why we can't make predictions for everyone in the world based our sample?
